Redose

The Redose Series began in 2004 as a separate Rednetic netlabel under the tagline “Digital Medication”, offering high-quality electronic music as free MP3 downloads. At the time, netlabels were an important part of independent electronic music culture: digital-first labels could build their own distinct identity and distribute music freely, outside the costs and limitations of physical releases. Inspired by labels such as Thinner, Kahvi, Monotonik and Kreislauf, alongside n5MD's digital offshoot En:peg, Redose became Rednetic's own space for free and exploratory releases. Originally operating as an adjacent label in its own right, Redose eventually came back under the Rednetic name and continues as its free digital download series, preserving the original idea of making carefully curated music freely accessible.
