Album artwork for Sunosis — Warmed Remixes - Leap

These remixes trace back to 2007, when Sunosis (Colin Welsh) released Warmed on Rednetic Recordings. Around that time, through connections formed at Ginglik in Shepherd’s Bush, where Colin ran the club with Tammi, a remix project for the track “Leap” was started. Artwork was created, and entries arrived, but the release was never completed and was eventually archived. Originally intended as a 2 CD release, with the album and a curated selection of remixes, the project remained unfinished, and over time some of the original files were lost or survived only as MP3s, making a traditional release less appropriate. Nearly twenty years later, the original demo CDs, files, and packaging were rediscovered and brought together for release. At the same time, Colin began One Ride at a Time, a 3,000 km bikepacking journey from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco to Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain, raising funds for mental health, recovery, and community cycling through Col’s Kent Bike Tours. Connection Matters We live in a time where everything is faster and more connected on the surface, but mental health is not improving. From recent experience, I’ve been reminded how important it is to reach out, to stay connected, and not carry things alone. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this project, then and now.
